Pour Paranthan Stain Remover on stained tiles. Leave for 5 minutes. Brush the area if necessary. Mop up the area. Dilute with water if necessary.

Chlorine
Chemical Formula: Cl2
Chlorine is a product manufactured by the chloro alkali process. Electrolysis of common salt (NaCl) gives out chlorine in this process. Chlorine gas is compressed & liquefied for the purpose of storage & transportation. Chlorine gas is transported in either in large tanks or in a cylinders of varying sizes from 900 kg to smaller sizes such as 68 kg.
Chlorine has many uses from water purification to manufacture of many other chemical compounds. Most of water works around the world use chlorine for dis-infection purpose. There are several chlorine base products such as bleaching powder, bleaching liquor etc for easy application of chlorine for swimming pools, waste water treatment plants etc. Chlorine is also a bleaching agent which is used to bleach fabric, cotton yarn etc.
Many hydrocarbons and organic compounds are reacted with chlorine to manufacture number of commercially important organic compounds such as poly vinyl chloride (PVC), chloroform (CCl4), Methyl Chloride (CH3Cl) and many other oregano-chloro compounds.
Caustic Soda

Caustic soda is manufactured by electrolysis of a solution of common salt. Worldwide production is approximately 60 million tons annually. Caustic soda is sold in different forms of flakes, pellet or solid or may be in solution form in concentrations of 32% or 50%.
Caustic soda is a base chemical used in manufacture of many other secondary chemicals & products. One of the main use is manufacture of soap & detergents. Caustic soda is also used in pulp and paper & textile industries. Caustic soda can also be used to neutralize acidic waste as caustic soda is an alkali.

Hydrochloric Acid
Chemical Formula: HCl
Hydrochloric acid is a strong acid & it is a product of Chloro alkali process. Hydrochloric acid is sold in concentration of around 35% in plastic cans or drums.
One of the most important applications of hydrochloric acid is in the pickling of steel, to remove rust or iron oxide scale from iron or steel before subsequent processing such as galvanizing, extrusion or rolling.
Paranthan Bleach
Chemical Name: Sodium Hypochlorite
Chemical Formula: NaOCl
Bleaching Liquid is a dis-infectant & a bleaching agent. Sodium Hypochlorite is the active chemical compound available in bleaching liquid. Commercial bleaching liquid is available in concentrations of 2%, 5%, 10%, 15% of Sodium hypochlorite. 2% & 5% concentrations are mostly used in household use whereas 5%, 10% & 15% are sold mostly in institutional markets.
Sodium Hypochlorite is available in many household cleaning liquids. This can be used to whiten the white clothes & remove stains in clothes and used in garment washing plants. Sodium hypochlorite is not only also used in purification of drinking water but also used in waste water treatment. Sodium Hypochlorite is also used in food industry for cleaning of equipment and dis-infecting swimming pool water.

Counts over 24 years’ experience in government service, served as a Enforcement officer in employee’s trust fund board and Public coordinating Secretary at Public coordinating unit of the Presidential Secretariat. Worked as Jathika Saviya District Coordinating Director for Kalutara District at Presidential Secretariat. Was a Board Member of Southern Development Authority.
Master of Arts in Economics / B.Sc. Business Administration (Special). Worked as Deputy Chief Secretary (Finance) – Southern Province (Super Grade) 2019-2022 and Director Southern Province Internal Audit. Is a Fellow member of the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka. Worked as Chief Accountant- Ministry of Fisheries, Southern Province and Chief Accountant at Ministry of Cooperative Affairs Southern Province from 2007- 2010, Gained experience as an Accountant Zonal Education Office Southern Province and as an Accountant at Divisional Secretariat Office, Akuressa and further as an Audit Examiner at Auditor General Department.
Mrs. Priyangani is representing the board since September 2020 as appointed by the Secretary to the Treasury. She obtained her first degree, B’com (First Class) from the University of Peradeniya and honored with the Master of Arts degree in financial economics from the University of Colombo. She is also a lifetime member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (MAAT) and has completed Licentiate part II of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL). She currently holds other Directorships in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) namely Sri Lanka Tea Board, MG Sugars Lanka Pvt Ltd, Helanco Hotels and Spa Pvt Limited representing Secretary to the Treasury. Also she was the former Treasury Representative director in Chillaw Plantations Ltd, Colombo Commercial Fertilizer Ltd, Canwill Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Sino Lanka Hotels and Spa (Pvt) Ltd, Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd, National Center for Advanced Studies and National Medicine Regulatory Organization. Mrs. Priyangani presently performs her duties in her capacity as a Director of the Department of Public Enterprises and Acting Senior Project Officer of the National Agency for Public Private Partnership. Also she was a senior manager in Public Enterprises Reform Commission of Sri Lanka (PERC) implementing key aspects of the governments public sector reform program.
